Piorra Maria Toy

A piece in linden wood, similar to the children’s toy, the spinning top, with the difference of being turned by hand without the help of a string.

When turning the piece, two figures are presented, one female and one male, with traditional Portuguese names, Maria and António. The spinning movement creates this illusion, of having two characters in the piece, when only one is drawn.
